On-site engineering support, wherever the machine is.
Ozark Global Engineering installs, starts up, and troubleshoots production equipment for manufacturers across the United States and abroad — with decades of hands-on experience on the plant floor, not just on paper.
What we do
Engineering support built around the install, not the invoice.
We specialize in on-site engineering support for new machine installations, checkouts, and start-ups — and we stay engaged for the equipment already running on your line.
New machine installation & startup
On-site support through checkout and startup, so new equipment reaches production speed on schedule.
Ongoing troubleshooting
Engineering support for machines already on your line — diagnosing problems and keeping production moving.
International deployment
Extensive experience at facilities outside the U.S. — comfortable getting equipment running in an unfamiliar plant, in an unfamiliar country.
Capabilities
Equipment and systems we work in.
Built from thirty-plus years apiece on the controls, mechanics, and safety systems behind nonwovens and packaging lines.
Global reach
Comfortable on any plant floor, in any country.
Between our two founding principals, we've worked in more than 35 countries across five continents — including a full year based in Nanjing, China in 2013 to help build a new diaper plant, and a later project in Tianjin.
About us
Founded by two engineers. Fielded by forty-two.
More than 42 engineers and staff have worked under the Ozark Global Engineering name since 2007, with project teams of five to ten sized to the job. It's led by two founding principals:
Jeff Lansman
B.S. Electrical Engineering, Texas A&M University. Spent twelve years with Kimberly-Clark — Paris, TX; Maumelle, AR; and the global installation team out of Neenah, WI — before founding Ozark Global Engineering with Dan Hansel in 2007. Lived and worked in Nanjing, China throughout 2013 building a new diaper plant, then returned for a project in Tianjin. Also runs Ozark Quilts & More, a Branson-based retail and wholesale quilt business. Based in Branson, MO.
Dan Hansel
Forty-plus years in industrial engineering, thirty of them with Kimberly-Clark, with a specialty in packaging equipment. Made more than 75 trips to Optima Machinery in Germany to check out baggers before shipment, then followed the equipment on-site for startup around the world. Also consults on building construction and electrical code compliance. Based in Freedom, WI.
